Emotionless

My life has moved on but why am I still feeling like this?

I feel lost and lonely falling deeper into an abyss.

The days pass by and still I think of you caress,
Not a moment goes by that I don’t miss your tenderness.

Keeping my mind busy is such a tiresome task.

‘Cuz once its blank your face pops up and fills the void.

But why am I still feeling all this inside?

Time has stood still, my emotions on pause,

Living my life without you is like living without a cause.

Oh what I wouldn’t give to be free of this,

Free of this torture and torment of wanting you so relentless.

Give me strength to get on with my life,

Since I have now accepted that you will never be my wife.
